No more Moma Cita in Costa Rica But I'm back to Blogging!

Well Hello every one it has been a while and i thought i would up date you all since my wecome home party! Its almost been a year and i cant believe how far i have come! when i arrived home i decided to start my own buisness called Michaela's Rebalancing. I started up my own web site and got buisness cards and all i even got a sign for my car window... but it tough starting out so i was in search of some $$ still wanting to take what i had learnt and put it to good use! So what did i do your asking well let me tell you !!! this girl does not just sit and wait for things to happen OH NO LOL.. I had to go for my biggest dream and see where it took me! soo i knew what i wented to do i wanted to work in a spa and not any spa t that the BEST in vancouver!! but how was i to do this wit only the training I had in the past 4 months in costa rica? and what was the best spa in Vnaoucver? so I set a goal SPA UTOPIA !!! I was very nervice as this spa only hires Registered massage therypists and they did not offer the type of massage i had learnt! so how was i to pull this off... in the mean time i needed money and fast as i still had to pay my rent and afford my life style... SOOOO I decided to go back to retail and be in sales at a childrens store only until i could make my Goal happen ( SPA UTOPIA) So i worked part time as a sales associate as Triple Flip its a lou lou lemon for kids!! it was fun but.. i knew thsi is not what i really wanted to be doing... so with in one week of sdtarting out at triple flip i decided enough is enough and just go for it michaela!!! what have you got to loose... so i called up the head of the spa in north vanocuver and got my felf a interview! with in two days of calling i had my first interview they asked what training i had and i had to explian what i had just come back from and they had no idea what type of massage this was or ever heard of rebalancing so i did what i could talked it up told them it was a form of gustalt and deep tissue along with joint release! they were interested but told me that they did not offer this at the spa and that if i did come on i would need to know thier type of training and i would need to get registered as a massage therypist in some thing they offered... well by this point i really thought i had bit off more then i could chew. But as you all are guessing that DID NOT STOP ME!!!! with in a week later i got a call for my second interview ... DA DA DA ... i was supper excited but knew i was in for a challange as the head of the massage department had called me to confirm that second interview and told me that i should dress approprite to massage him... ong i was thinking to my self how am i gonna pull this off i have never in my life done any other type of massage and now i had to go to a inter view and massage the head of the department ... maybe i could talk my self in to a second inter view but only knowing rebalancing massage and having to massage in other forms on the head of the department are two different things there was no way i could bull shit my way through this!! but i could not give up the opprotunity of thsi great job as thsi was my goal to work at this big spa!!! so there i was shaking in my shoes, here we are its all or nothing he takes me into this huge room with two massage tables and tells me this is thier VIP room and that he was going to get on the table and i would come back in the room in a few minutes . he intructed me that i would massage him fo ra hour and that he would tell me what he wanted and what type of massage i was to give him during thsi hour. i leave the room and i stand there ready to puke!!! how am i going to pull thsi off i have no idea how to do any other massage and he thinks i do ... i walk in take a deep breath and approach the table... he's lying on him tummy face down its go time he ask's me to start on his back with the technique i have learnt... ok i can do this i squart some oil and off i go first thing he says is " wow this is different" what does that mean? i start to sweat omg does he hate it? then he ask's me to switch to sweedish massage , ive heard thsi is long strokes more relaxation massage so i go for it ... ive got my self in this deep i eather make it or break it.. guess what he falls asleep .. right out snoring lol!!! im thinking great!!! about 15 min later he wakes up and says wow great ok now i would like u to do soem deep tissue i put my back into it and get my elbows out and give it to him... a few mintues later he says ok great! i think were done! I walk out of the room no idea what i have just done and he calls me back in he tells me he has never had quite the massage like this B4 . he sdays i have one more question if i pull i muscle say this one as he points to his for arm what would you do? i grab his arm turn it palm up and starts massaging the tendents i have no idea about bones or injuries... he nods ... one week later my phone rings michaela i hear ... yes ... its the SPA " were wondering if you could come back for training starting next week! I could not believe it i had pulled it off... i have to tell you the next two weeks of training were intence i had to learn every thing new!!! but in the end it was all worth it and i achieved my goal!!! i have been with Spa Utopia now just over 8 months and love it! i am just starting my Aroma Therapy course and very excited to be getting registered at the end of the year for aroma therapy! theer is so much more to come!! stories and new achieve ments but ive kept you to long and its time for bed for me.. good night all i hope u enjoyed my new beginning and i look forward to sharing more with you!

Any ways very excited now to get a jumps start on my buisness and just keep promoting my self!!! i have been very sick with the flue all weend and just today am starting to feel better ... im gonna head off in about a hour to yoga with my brothers gf and hope fully sweat some of these toxins out!

setting up my web page!!

well its has not been a easy go... started with this morning woke up early and went to the WVPD west van police department to get my criminal record check hope no cobwebs get pulled up lol .. jk i know im clear but it will take 2 weeks till they give me my papers ...Then ill be registered bby!!! whoo hoo.. so excited!

then i took the hole day setting up my web page Michaelasrebalancing.com but i have to set it up all by my welf i thought it looked easy enough untill all my info got deleted and then when i added a page it would copy all the info from the previouse page and then when i deleted it it ould delete all my info from the previouse page ... like they were connected... so i got very anoyed and gave up for now lol.... i need some one who is good at computers as i have no idea what im doing!

any one know any oe who is good at bilding web sites??

anyways very excited that every thing is comming together !!!

was out last night looking for my future husband... this is what i found...

soo i have picked a few names for my buisness but was un sure wich one and thought i woud google to see if any of them are being used... and what comes up when i google them... so my first name i google was ... "Living Loving Laughing Rebalancing body work" i clicked seach and guess what popped up!!! at the top of the page nothing in front of it.... MAMA CITA IN COSTA RICA!!! my blog!!! how wild is that !! so guess what there it is this will be my new name!!!

so exciting... also today i was very productive and have gotten all my papers in order to register my self under BC as extended medical all i have to do now is tomorrow i will head dowm to the police station to get my criminal record wich cost's 55$ and then all my work will be paid off!!!

im so happy!!!
